EsportsCalc: Standings Maker · Last updated: October 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information the EsportsCalc: Standings Maker app (the "app") for Android and iOS uses, who receives it, and the choices you have. "We" and "us" mean the developer of the app, ZeeNova Apps.
Summary
- Your tournaments, teams, players and images are stored only on your device. The app has no accounts and we run no servers, so we cannot see them.
- Screenshot scanning runs on your device. Your screenshots are not uploaded.
- The free plan shows ads from Unity Ads. To deliver ads, Unity receives information about your device, such as your advertising ID and IP address, and about how you interact with ads. You can turn off personalized ads at any time.
- Paid plans are bought through Google Play or the App Store, and checked with RevenueCat. Paid plans show no ads, and the ad service is not started.
- We do not sell your information for money.
Information stored on your device
To run your tournaments, the app saves the following only on your device:
- Tournament details: names, games, matches, maps, scoring rules and results
- Team and player details you enter: team names, tags, player names (IGNs) and roles
- Images you choose to add: team logos, player photos, your organizer logo and poster backgrounds
- App settings, such as your theme, organizer name and ad choice
This information never leaves your device unless you choose to share it (see below). It is never sent to us, to Unity or to RevenueCat.
Photos and files
Choosing images: when you add a logo, photo, background or a screenshot to scan, the app opens your device's photo picker. Only the images you select are used by the app. The app cannot see the rest of your photos.
Saving posters: when you tap Save, the poster is saved to your device's gallery in an "EsportsCalc" album. On older Android versions (Android 10 and below), the app asks for storage permission only to do this.
Sharing: when you tap Share, your device's share menu opens and you choose where the poster goes. Anything shared is then handled by the app or service you pick, under its own privacy policy.
Screenshot scanning
When you scan result screenshots to fill in standings, the screenshots are read by models built into the app, on your device. They are not uploaded to us or to any AI service.
Advertising (free plan)
The free plan shows a banner ad, occasional full-screen ads at natural breaks, and optional rewarded ads that you can choose to watch. These ads come from Unity Ads, a service of Unity Technologies ("Unity"). When the app loads or shows an ad, the Unity Ads software in the app sends information to Unity. Depending on your device and your choices, this may include:
- Advertising ID: your Android advertising ID or, on iPhone and iPad, your IDFA (only if you allow tracking).
- Other device identifiers, such as the identifier for vendors (IDFV) on iOS or the Android ID.
- IP address and approximate location worked out from it, such as your country.
- Device and app information: device make and model, operating system and version, language, screen resolution and other hardware details, and the app's ID.
- Ad interactions: which ads were shown, whether you watched, skipped or tapped them, and whether you installed an advertised app.
- Diagnostics: technical information about how ads load and play, such as errors and loading times.
Unity uses this information to:
- show ads and count views and taps, so advertisers can be billed and we can be paid;
- personalize ads based on the apps you use and the ads you interact with, only if you allow personalized ads (see "Your ad choices");
- produce analytics and reports about how ads perform;
- detect and prevent fraud, invalid traffic and abuse, and keep its service secure.
Unity may share ad-related information with advertisers and with measurement (attribution) partners, as described in its policies. We receive only summary reports from Unity, such as how many ads were shown and what they earned; these reports do not identify you. Unity handles this information under the Unity Privacy Policy and its Game Player and App User Privacy Policy.
Your ad choices
- In the app: open Profile → Personalized ads and choose Not personalized. Ads are then not based on your personal data. You see the same number of ads either way. Unity still receives the basic information it needs to deliver ads, count them and prevent fraud.
- iPhone and iPad: the app asks once, with Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, whether it may track you. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", your IDFA is not shared and ads are not personalized. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: on most devices, open Settings → Privacy → Ads (on some devices Settings → Google → Ads) to delete or reset your advertising ID, or to opt out of ads personalization. Menu names vary by device.
- Inside an ad: tap the Data Privacy icon in a Unity ad to see Unity's privacy options. If you are in a region whose law requires it, such as the EU or the UK, Unity may also show you privacy choices with the first ad you see.
- No ads at all: any paid plan removes ads.
Subscriptions and purchases
Paid plans are sold and billed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see your card or other payment details; Google's or Apple's privacy policy applies to the payment itself.
We use RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.) to check purchases and unlock the plan you bought. For this, RevenueCat receives:
- a random app user ID that the app creates (not linked to your name or email address);
- your purchase and subscription details: the product, price and currency, purchase and renewal dates, the store's transaction or receipt data, and the subscription's status;
- basic device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, app version and store country, and your IP address.
This information is used only to provide your purchases: to confirm and restore them, and to know when a subscription renews, ends or is refunded. It is not used for advertising. RevenueCat handles it under the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
To manage or cancel a subscription, use Google Play (Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions) or, on iPhone and iPad, Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
Third-party services
The only third parties that receive information from the app are Unity (ads, free plan only), RevenueCat (purchases) and, for payments, Google Play or the Apple App Store, each only for the purposes described above. These services provide the same or equal protection of your information as stated in this policy and as required by the Google Play and App Store rules.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, messages, browsing history or precise (GPS) location. The app has no sign-in. Apart from the ad and purchase services described above, the app contains no analytics or crash-reporting tools.
Children's privacy
The app is made for tournament organizers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app, contact us and we will help.
Keeping and deleting data
- On your device: you can delete tournaments, teams and players in the app at any time. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in your device settings, permanently removes everything the app has stored. Posters you saved to your gallery stay there until you delete them.
- Advertising data is kept by Unity for the periods set out in its policies. To ask Unity for access or deletion, use the Data Privacy icon in an ad or the contact options in Unity's policy. Deleting or resetting your advertising ID also stops it being linked to past ad activity.
- Purchase data is kept by RevenueCat for as long as it is needed to provide your purchases and to meet tax and accounting duties. To ask for it to be deleted, email us your order number from the Google Play or Apple receipt email, and we will ask RevenueCat to delete the matching records.
Security
Information sent to Unity and RevenueCat travels over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Data stored on your device is protected by your device's own security, such as its screen lock.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to its use, and, in some US states, to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. Sharing an advertising ID with an ad network for personalized ads can count as a "sale" or "sharing" under those laws; choosing Not personalized in the app (or "Ask App Not to Track" on iOS) opts you out. To use any of these rights, contact us. Because we keep no personal information on servers of our own, we will pass your request on to Unity or RevenueCat where needed.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles information, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date before the change takes effect.
